A great time for boating

April is a great time of year for boating – strong summer breezes have gone, winter rains are months away and the days can be warm and balmy. The selling season is far from over with buyers looking to replace or upgrade gear or planning that new boat. The event also provides a great opportunity to ‘ship out’ discontinued or over-stocked lines.

The festival represents all aspects of boating and water activities including luxury cruising, sailing, fishing and scuba diving, snorkelling, jet skiing, water skiing, wake boarding, wind surfing and kayaking. It also features entertainment and tourism destinations, next summer’s boat and beachwear, career information and classes covering everything from fishing tips to marine navigation and much more.

Promotion Highlights

Over $150,000 in promotion and media exposure will ensure that water sport enthusiasts will know about the Festival and when it’s on. The campaign will include a full colour feature in The West Australian during the week leading up to the festival.
